This one is for all the marbles. After testing the cargo pod they will be allowed to attempt to dock with the ISS. I sure hope it works.

Along with this launch 300 peoples ash flew?!

According to Elon Musk the Space X founder, until recently the all rocket tech wasn't evolve for 40 years. That is pretty weird development. So Space X pretty much accelerated some lost rocket technologies and doing these launches with far less budget and man power compare to old bulky NASA and Roscosmos or Esa. Well my initial conclusions.

Yes, and both were based on Von Braun's V2 built by slave labor in underground factories. And when one V2 failed, the whole work unit which had assembled it was hanged. 20 or 40 at a time.,

Yes 100% agree that initially at same time hundreds of german rocket scientists enslaved by both american and russian regime so NASA and Roscosmos were founded on that. I guess that partially maybe for war crime payment yet originally full german ingenuity. (that is why still today the supreme elites of both empires prefer german cars!! img1 img2)

I'd say uk as a 3d party created wonderful honest documentary on that: (BBC historians released significant amount of hidden facts by both american and russian governments with their presentation)

Additionally Elon Musk himself is neither american nor european but south african who largely raised alongside of apparthide racism cruelty on native african people. So with such unique background he maybe has some mental means to rebel against unbeatable (previously considered) rocket sciency empirial establishments.

Plus Elon acknowledged that both russia and america failed to advance rocket science in the last 40 years (well germans really had some tricky brain product that uncrackable by two empires).

Well done SpaceX. Just goes to show what can be accomplished with a will & determination.

Just wondering what would have been possible if the larger Aircraft Companies like Boeing/MacDonald Douglas had got in on the act.

One of its 9 Merlin engines was shut down but Falcon 9 entered its planned orbit. Only one commercial satellite was left in a lower orbit, for safety reasons.
