	Well, no worries now. The American people spoke and we've finally arrived to the logical conclusion government's responsibility is to take care of its people in an equal and fair manner. White males should be banned from voting ever again because of crimes against women/minorities/gays/religions other than Catholic and athiests/the environment and everything else for so many thousands of years. With a little more effort, the constitution will be dead and there will be no more impediments to finally taking care of the reparations due to the people who've been oppressed/taken advantage of/enslaved for so many generations by the white male. Equality is just around the corner! I accept this now. As a white guy, I won't feel right unless I get punished for the rest of my life. Who's going to lead the first white male labor camp?

That is the truth. Worst it has been and getting worse. The Bush policies are just now beginning to show their effects and it won't be possible to reverse them for another 4 years. Instead of 47% of the people not paying income tax this needs to jump up to 75% of the people not paying income tax. There are far too many poor who are being hurt by having to pay income tax. We can help them right away be getting them off the income tax rolls. They should all be eligible for Earned Income Tax Credit and the base amount of that credit should be a living wage. Amerika is the greatest country on earth, it can afford it. ____________

	Ah yes, Gary in sarcasm mode. One way to increase the proportion of folks paying taxes -- pay living wages to workers among the 47%. Note of course that a fair sized piece of 'the 47%' are retirees living on modest pensions and social security and thus not paying income taxes.
