Yes in Europe and not the UK/GB.

It is the building on the right as you say, centre for me. It is not romanesque - but close.

Time for a hint.

As I said the building is not romanesque but close, that is because it is not built in the Roman style, it is because it is Roman.

I don't see a multi sports car pile up so can I assume its not in Italy. Perhaps France?

Skildude; Correct it is not Italy, and less about the multi-car pile ups. They are usually caused by drivers who don't understand the unwritten rules of the road in Italy.

Tullio; Correct it is Deutschland, translated to Germany for the masses.

You got it Celt. I thought it looked familiar, but was to lazy to dig out my book on Trier.
(Now, I don't have to come up a pic, so that works for me:)

Trier (Treviri in Italian) was Augusta Trevirorum.

It's a place more people should visit, they have a gentle drive up the Mossel, sampling the wine, and then maybe watching the fireworks on the Rhine at Koblenz.

Ok now as we are on the subject of aedificium: So what is this place, and just to make it easy, what is the street address in what town. This contest should go very quickly.
Just a reminder, no PMs with the answer please.

If on the off chance that this one goes over a day I’ll give good hints.
