James Stewart started a degree course in 1928 & died in 1997. Whether or not he got the degree I don't know, but he did appear over here in 1935.

And Uli is correct this actor died in about 28 years ago.

The Rommel clue gave it away for me...the 2 films were "The Desert Fox" & "The Desert Rats". There have been several actors playing Rommel, but ony one played him twice....

Be back in a bit with a new question...just got to go through Video/DVD library...
