Starting to sound like "My Three Sons" with Fred McMurray and Wm Frawley.

You are correct sir. My three sons it is.

Thank you, James.

Next question: Several of the cast members of "My Three Sons" were regulars on other TV comedies. Since by rule I cannot ask for both the actor and the show, name two of those shows.

The Rifleman and Wagon Train.

Both of which I enjoyed in my youth.
Sorry, those are Westerns, not comedies.

For one of the actors, his role on the other show was before "My Three Sons".

Ernest Borgnine

Borgnine joined the United States Navy in 1935, after graduation from James Hillhouse High School[4] in New Haven, Connecticut. He was discharged in 1941, but re-enlisted when the United States entered World War II and served until 1945
