Time for an offtopic post, or summat ...

Here, now ......
I thought the only thing considered off-topic in this pub was bad news.
Enough of that on the outside, in here we must keep things pleasant and positive, am I right?

So since Sir John is visiting, a round for all,
and a plate of sausage rolls for my lunch, please.

The ones you served me last week, just before the refurb, were very good, Rob. Does the butcher do them custom for us, or are they store-bought?

They are the product of team work.

A great butcher and a great pastry chef working hard to produce the best possible sausage roll.

btw If you thought the sausage roll was good you should try the their latest endeavour, which hasn't got a name yet, its a hand raised mixed meat "pork" pie.
these will be available to "the public" once the waiting staff can get them past the committee....

Nice with a dollop of pickle, just be careful of dropping any crumbs on the
floor, 'cos I've just been around with the hoover. OK!!

John has those pooches well trained. When they are not doing the crumb duty, they like to sit on the table in the John nook.
Anyone, please make sure the staff knows not to turn the fans in there. We could have fur everywhere otherwise.

Furr balls are mostly the kind which need a bath and stripping/fur clipped every 8 to 10 weeks. they still eat uup crumbs.
