Well americans largely spun off from irish and english maybe most of those ufo and alien myths and rumoring traditions likely have been passed from continent to continent and across those nationalities generations. Well the world is waiting for first italian american president so the dryness atmosphere probably thaw a few notches that turning into more italian rather anglo-saxian. Why kenian american has preceded 20 million group that is maybe a Ufo degree of mystery. Mandtugai! |

Johnney, Interesting Orgil, So what do you believe? Do you believe in some type of God Orgil? And if you don't, are their historical records from your countries history about a God-like creator creating your ancestors in the ancient past? Some mythology from ancient Mongolia about Gods of some type or another? You might have a different name for them. What about the Buddhist monks? John. |

Well, Nancy Pelosi could become the first Italian-American president and also the first woman president. Not all Italian women are actresses or TV stars, the spokesperson for the ATLAS experiment at CERN was Fabiola Gianotti and Captain Samantha Cristoforetti of the Italian Air Force is slated for a mission to the Internationali Space Station in 2014. I'd say she is a fine public official. but nobody is perfect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP3tk7XG31E Maybe that is why american voters wont give her a chance. Mandtugai! |

maybe my statement has nothing to do with the actuall discussion now in this thread... in context to 'the subject of UFOs' i only can say that UFOs are mostly frauds, airplanes, strange meteorological phenomena, e.g. :-) no visitors from outer space.... and no strange subjects like in "the X-files" |

It shouldn't be about "belief". It should be about where the empirical data leads us. Eye witnesses and blurry objects are not empirical evidence. The problem is, there is no evidence for alien visitations, so there's no reason to believe it has actually happened. |

Now Ronald Reagan was another UFO fact supporter politician: http://science.howstuffworks.com/space/aliens-ufos/ronald-reagan-ufo.htm He has even attempted to speak on UN assebmley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK-XATA-5gs He could have choose this speach on another big local or big international meeting but this occasion was UN assembley which is really weird case to ignore. And my suspescion is this is why CIA tried to shut him down and did that mental health stuff. (well it sounds like conspiricy theory stuff but it is just my own guess) He had even his personal psychic to end the cold war. Well that is another big subject I guess. ...Jimmy Carter who is openly UFO fact supporter first president ... Mandtugai! |

Well americans 2 of your presidents spanning 12 years of kingship/presidentialers were on UFO fact side what and how will you criticize and ridicule them?!?! Mandtugai! |

Can you please point out where I've ridiculed or unjustly criticized anyone? For the nth time, it doesn't matter if you're a US President, former military member, rock star, famous actor, governor, or some red neck from the woods. Claiming you believe in UFOs is not evidence of their visitations. |

Well anyways suddenly I have two fully credited shipmates, so comfortable. :) both from either left wing and right wing political forces which is even a full circle. Plus that Arizona former governer guy which is another open supporter he is kind of president material so maybe 3 fully credited public figures!!! (well Carter and Reagan were successors and according to their claims UFO's shined nearby them and within 12 years of their presidentship the Cold War has ended) So perhaps was 2 american presidents plus 2 ufos inside job was to end the cold war?! ;) (Now the dots are really got connected that from 1978-1990 the Berlin wall fell down influenced with 2 UFO guys!) ;) Mandtugai! |

Facts shouldn't be a popularity contest. It doesn't matter how many people you have "on your side". You need to have facts to backup your claims, not copious amounts of people. Lots of people believing the same incorrect idea does not make that idea correct. |

Can you please point out where I've ridiculed or unjustly criticized anyone? LOL....thats a good one Ozzfan. You really do make me laugh. Your the one person here that ridicules everyone that dares to suggest anything outside the box. You have a future in comedy Ozzfan! And another thing, what about putting you user name back in. Are you hiding from something? John. |

Can you please point out where I've ridiculed or unjustly criticized anyone? So pointing out facts, or the other person's lack of evidence is now considered "ridicule"? Thinking outside the box is fine so long as you can provide observations to backup your claims. If your observations and evidence is not strong enough, then your idea has no merit. That's kinda the way things work, Johnney. What does it matter if I have the name "OzzFan" in my handle or not? I had $o |>0/|/3 as my handle for a while and people still called me OzzFan. So then I ask, "What's in a name?" You clearly know who I am, and I haven't denied it so I'm obviously not hiding from anything. I simply decided to change my handle as I've done in the past at least once before. You also seem to be harboring some animosity toward me, Johnney. Would that have anything to do with the way you have been responding to me lately? |

Yes! Your pretty sharp!
Putting in an appropriate user name and avatar is simply a courtesy to other people, especially new people that come here to ask a question. It puts a name and a face on people. The internet is impersonal enough without making it any worse. Its just polite Ozzfan. Put back in the Ozzy Osbourn picture. Do it for me, as a friend. John. |

Ummm... no. That's not ridicule. Ridicule is defined by the dictionary as mockery, derision, taunting, jeering, and scoffing. While I have done those things on occasion when I feel the person is simply being ridiculous, I don't ridicule people who actually bring facts to the table. Pointing out facts and the other person's lack of evidence is what happens in any intellectual debate. You're just going to have to get used to it. So every person that doesn't have an avatar is being "impolite"? I hardly think so. It is my account and I can do with it as I wish so long as it doesn't break the posting rules. I certainly don't use an image of a glass of Guinness with "Paddy's [sic] in Space" as "putting a name and a face" on you. Nor do I think Misfit a female because of his Avatar. Or Dullnando to be a devil. Again, I ask, "What's in a name?" |

As of now 2 american presidents plus at least 2 more american senators are on UFO fact side: http://www.brownsguides.com/blog/weird-georgia-senator-richard-russells-ufo/ http://science.howstuffworks.com/space/aliens-ufos/senator-russell-ufo.htm The second senator I do not remember his name but he has openly spoke about seeing one during in presidential candidate debate last year the one with dark hair. Wow suddenly the list extends with heavy weight witnesses so quickly, SO comfortable!! ps. found him it is Dennis Kusinich: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,306616,00.html Mandtugai! |

Again, since when does it matter who believes a false story? The more famous they are, or the closer they are to the US Government, the more valid the theory must be? Just because they were a part of our Government doesn't make them immune from falling for wacky theories without proof. Also, in order to be called the "UFO fact side", you have to actually provide facts. Otherwise, simply adding "fact" to the end of your conspiracy theory means you don't actually understand the meaning of the word. |

Yes all you can do is attack regular guys and you do not have piece of guts to debunk your own too sensetive politicians which is classic american hypocracy. Mandtugai! |

Another cool fact: "In 1952, in an informal survey of 44 of his fellow astronomers, J. Allen Hynek of Project Blue Book learned that five had seen UFOs. "A higher percentage than among the public at large," Professor Hynek noted in an internal Air Force memorandum. Fear of ridicule kept most scientists silent about their sightings, however. In a 1976 survey of members of the American Astronomical Society, 62 admitted to having had UFO experiences; only one of the scientists made a public report of his sighting." http://science.howstuffworks.com/space/aliens-ufos/j-allen-hynek.htm Because church-academia witch hunting is too fierce every where scientists keep silent about witnessing unexplainable areal phenomenons or ufo.
