The lower portion of my graphics has nothing in it. Am I missing a setting?

Could we see a screenshot?

Hmmm. I didn't think that was possible.

Should I try a reinstall?

It won't make a difference if you re-install BOINC because BOINC doesn't provide the SETI@Home screen saver or graphic. The SETI@Home science application provides the screen saver/graphic, and that is left behind if you uninstall BOINC.

Does this happen on every task you process, or only certain ones? What video card are you using? Are you using the most up-to-date drivers? Are the drivers OpenGL compatible?

The bottom part is blank for the first few minutes of each task. If the task is still showing 0% complete after 15 or 20 min, abort it.

Interesting, and I see in the graphic you provided earlier in the thread that the workunit is progressing since the bar is about 90% of the way through the task. Do the workunits complete and validate?

Socket 1155, which means the graphics are technically built into the CPU. What CPU do you use? I want to know if its the Intel HD 2000 or Intel HD 3000 series integrated graphics.

Are you using the most up-to-date drivers? Yes. Ver dated 2/12/2012

Are you using the Asus-provided driver or one from Intel's site?

Are you using the Asus-provided driver or one from Intel's site? I update my drivers by using the ASUS Utility - Al Suite II. This utility downloads and updates all the latest chip drivers from ASUS. My last update was done about a month and a half ago. Just checked the Web site. No new drivers.
