Under "Options", "Connections", I get a connection of "pussyhigh" in BOINC Mgr. Is this as it's supposed to be? Have run virus scans with Norton and other malware utilities with no positive result. Any light on this subject???
Help!!!! D

No, that's not normal. Probably malware that managed to get through your other checkers. Do a complete system check with SuperAntiSpyware. This spyware checker gets daily updates.

MalwareBytes is another good one to clean an infected system. with the free version you have to manually run it to check your PC but it catches things other misses, and does a great job getting rid of even some of the nastiest malware I've seen.

You're also throwing alot of errors in your GPU work, and they're "177"'s, which means their max time was exceeded. With a 470, a typical workunit should finish in 10-12 minutes, and a VHAR shorty in 3-5. The errors are 10 times that. Sure looks like you've "caught" something.

FWIW, looks like this malware has been around awhile. Here is a 2004 post about how to remove it.
