Here's my first inconclusive:http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=974502050

This one should get validated.
Both of you found 30/30 pulses.

But it came late in the run, at dm_chunk_large 8704

That's a lot of time wasted by the 3rd. cruncher, as well as the extra bandwidth.

I've kept a copy of ap_01ja12ac_B1_P0_00251_20120418_31537.wu with the others, thanks.

And here is my 2nd today. Another 30/30, with alot of runtime, and 0% blanking, just like the first one.

This one came in invalid, don't know why... http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=971400940
I found 4 and 1 one of my wingmen also found 4 and 1 running his on his optimized CPU. The other wingman was running stock.

Got another one. Just reported it and was doing my spreadsheet and noticed CBNC on the task page for it whilst plugging in numbers.

That ap_04ja12ab_B1_P1_00298_20120414_24478.wu is gone now, so there's no way to check. Most likely it was another case where some signals were less than 1% above threshold. Please watch for any more which go inconclusive.

I am running "AstroPulse v6 (anonymous platform, CPU)"

And my wingman shows
AstroPulse v6 6.01 windows_intelx86

If it is of no consequence no one has to reply. I won't be offended :-).

OK, I've harvested all the new workunit datafiles up to this point.

Please be patient, it's a slow process testing them, but we appreciate the reports - please keep them coming.

Special thanks to dsh for our first Linux report.

I have a WU completed rapidly and showing 30 single pulse & 30 repeat pulses,
It not marked as inconclusive..
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=977174791
Just in case its of interest..

NB:-
Since the first 3 inconclusives all have gone ok with unroll set to 10 on GTX560's.

Those inconclusives were all set below an unroll of 10

Regards,
Cliff,

Running Lunatics, linux 64, avx.

ap_30dc11aa_B6_P1_00185_20120412_04868.wu did not validate for me.

A system crash may have trashed the computation.

The machine did have some hickups during the weekend (complete lockups). They seem to have stopped after I upgraded the NVIDIA driver on sunday.

Damn, that wu (ap_30dc11aa_B6_P1_00185_20120412_04868.wu) is already deleted.
Would have been a good chance to eliminate a not yet found bug somewhere in these apps, which can cause an invalid result from time to time.
These also happened before, with v5.06, but at a rate of less than every 500th wu catching these belonged to more luck than i had.
Could be the same again ... or just the hosts problems petri33 reported.

That's why we have to know about them at the inconclusive stage - they get cleaned up very quickly after they go valid (or invalid) as the case may be.

Harvested (just in case):
