Say hey sailor. You wanna get lucky?

The problem is, you never know what she means by that.

Many years of dating and many years of being settled, I still don't know what they mean by most of the things they say. :-)

Oh dear. That's why I'm the only young one... I've been breaking the rules by even being here at my age.

Don't feel bad, I've got an almost working Electric Singer Sewing Machine that's older than anybody here, but it was made in 1912, I say almost as the machine has the original electrical cord and it needs rewiring, otherwise it's not safe to use, if I even knew how to use it that is, besides it figuratively weighs a ton, as it's mostly made of cast iron... I'd inherited it from My Mom.

Pass that Centrum Silver over, will ya?

Sorry, but you are not yet old enough for that yet.

And I do know your age.

I used to say that My Mom was as old as the Dinosaurs, She knew I was just kidding of course.

So, so far there's only one known person here under 30. And I don't know that anyone so far was even under 40, besides myself and Slavac...

Lol. I can think of a few others that would at least be under 40..

Maybe, all the younger people just silently crunch, and are too busy with their social lives for the forums. That's it, that's what's going on here... yea...

Social life, i think i remember the term...

I'm only mid-twenties, yet most of my school friends are married with children.

You're as old as the woman you feel!

The reason that there are virtually no people under 30 here is that they are too busy texting on their mobiles to post. Anyone seen my pension book?

You've forgotten again haven't you. They don't have them now, it's paid into your bank account and you have to use that small plastic card with a pin number, you do remember that don't you, or find your bus pass and go down town to the bank, to get your money.

I remember the 'post your age if you dare' thread :D

I know a couple of people around here are 'my age' give or take a few years.
Quite a few seem to be in the mid 50 to mid 60 bracket (still working) and a substantial number is retired (I suppose you just have more time on your hands).

Below 35 is rare, but very welcome.

to be doing at this moment in time, etc) but I can remember numbers like nobody's
