Eric Clapton: Old Sock - exclusive album stream

Listen to an exclusive digital stream of Eric Clapton's new album Old Sock, the guitarist's 20th solo effort, which features guests Paul McCartney and Steve Winwood.


Eric Clapton is about to release his 20th studio album, Old Sock.

The 12-track LP, which features guest appearances from Paul McCartney and Steve Winwood, will be released on Polydor on March 25.

And you can listen to the album in its entirety exclusively on Telegraph.co.uk.

The album features two new tracks - Gotta Get Over and Every Little Thing - alongside covers of songs such as soul ballad Your One and Only Man and folk standard Goodnight Irene.

Clapton duets with Paul McCartney on a cover of popular Thirties jazz song All of Me. The guitarist also plays alongside Chaka Khan (on Gotta Get Over), Steve Winwood (Still Got the Blues) and JJ Cale (Angel).

Old Sock, which was produced by Clapton and frequent collaborators Doyle Bramhall II, Justin Stanley and Simon Climie, is the 67-year-old's first album since 2010's Clapton, which reached number seven on the UK chart.

This May, Clapton will embark upon an arena tour of the UK and Ireland, which will include seven nights at the Royal Albert Hall.


Was in two minds, maybe this should have been in the I suddenly feel old thread. But as we are approx the same age, if Eric can still do it so can I.
