for every 30 or so Multibeam WU's 1 astropulse is produced. I see one of your computers has a v5.05 and the other failed to properly d/l 2 v6 AP's. The WU's are out there you just have to be patient In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Thanks, the down load error happened when I loaded SET@Home on my new lap top. SETI is running fine on the lap top. Autopulse. message reads error on down load. I removed SETI and then reinstalled it and also did a install repair so it should be good as new. My old computer with AutoPulse 5 is now retired. Phil |

Terminology: BOINC = Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. Multibeam = Seti standard 366KB tasks. Search going on in low definition. Astropulse = Seti large 8MB tasks. Search going on in high definition. |

Oh, it's letting me post now, wouldn't before. So I rejoined Seti at home after a couple of years and the screensaver is running normally except that it isn't processing anything. At first there was no screensaver and I tried updating, eventually the screen saver started running with data it says was recorded in Jan 2011 but there is no data being processed. I haven't seen this before, what could be wrong? |

Never mind, it started working after about 20 minutes. Thanks. |
