Hi!

It so happens that my old S@H account is registered on a mailaddress that has been taken down, so I can't retrieve my password.

I need to change the e-mail of my old account, can this be done?

The old account is GloFF (ID 187876).

Do you still have a machine running BOINC?

Do you have a backup of your BOINC data directory?

Can you buy the domain (they go for about $20 or so for a year).

All my machines running BOINC on that account is long gone. The only thing I remember is the e-mail address used for login, but this e-mail isn't functional anymore and so I can't get hold of the password reset process.

For that was JM7's last question:-)

You have been absent for quite a while. Classic accounts can only be attached to one BOINC account. Make certain that you remember your password for the BOINC account (I would suggest KeePass or similar).

Hehe, I have better password management now, than back then.

But yeah, absent for quite a while. I can remember doing WUs on AthlonXPs and early AMD64s.

Anyway, how does Classic WUs count towards credits these days? My new account got my original joindate after I linked the old account to it and I can see the Classic WUs got transferred, as Classic WUs.

They show on your account page separately. Unfortunately, there is no way of doing the computation from Classic Credits (one per WU no matter how long it took) to BOINC credit (based on Floating Point Operations Done).

It's more of a veterancy value or unit then. Vintage is the word, yes, vintage.

S@H Classic WU, vintage 2003 ... never ever gonna open that bottle.
