Seti apologizes to it's many contributors over the years.
Despite sophisticated fail-safes, it was recently discovered that for the last five years our dish has been directed at Washington and Ottawa.
No intelligent life has been detected.
Our technicians are working on the problem and will concentrate their efforts on the planet Vogosphere, where there have been a number of emmissions that have our best experts guardedly hopeful.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
