Hi everyone, I've been using BOINC manager for 3 days. I've downloaded Seti@home, Milkyway@home programmes. However, the tasks for Seti@home were not running, they were in a state of "downloading", but the tasks of Milkyway@home were in a state of "running" as normal. I want to ask what is the problem and how to tackle it?? Thx a lot~~=] |

This question has been posted in several places. There is nothing wrong on your end. The SETI@Home internet pipe is clogged from 500,000 clients trying to grab work through a 100Mbit (12.5MB/s) connection. BOINC will automatically keep retrying to download work, so just be patient and let BOINC do its thing. |

Hi there, I have the same problem. I started the button "actualise" many, many, many times and nothing happened. Seti sends me no more data-packages. What's wrong? Milkyway and Cosmology does not make such problems! Any help would be great... coffee |

BOINC works on a debt base, where when one project takes up too much CPU time, the other project(s) allowed to fetch work will eventually be paid back that time. You can then click Update all you want, but that won't force anything. Why not leave BOINC alone? I'm sure that eventually you'll see it starting to get work again from Seti. You just have to have patience. |
