Hi,
What is the average download time for PrimeGrid and SETI@home? Does it usually take a few hours? Days? Weeks?

Any help would be great.

The Seti project is a bit overworked. Too many computers all wanting work is more than the present 100Mbit connection can take and as such we're all waiting for the last computer in line to download its work before we can do so. As you can see in this graph, this has overworked the connection.

Primegrid has its own graphs, on their server status page. It doesn't show as overloaded at this time, so it's difficult to answer you without knowing:
- Which sub-project of Primegrid you chose to run?
- How much work you want BOINC to cache, set by the connect to and additional work values?
- How fast your internet connection is, and whether or not you're doing something else with it at this time, such as streaming torrents?
- What you see as the download speed...
