Okay I'm back in town. Peter I sent you an IM, please get back to me when you get a chance and we'll get you sorted.

MarkJ sent in a large donation which moved our JBOD Hotswap Drives fundraiser further up the hill. Here's where we are currently:

Hotswap JBOD Hard Drives - Raised: $846 / Goal: $ 1410.00 : $564 to go

If you can, please consider helping us finish off this fundraiser. I'd like to have this cleared as soon as possible in preparation of another fundraiser we're planning.

Thanks guys!

The same thing used to happen to me, but I just logged in, and everything was fine. I understand your frustration, as when that happened to me I kept thinking I was doing something wrong. Once it finally settled out, then I was set, and had no further troubles. I'm sure Slavac will assist you when he can.

I've tested both the website login system as well as the donation system and both are working like they should. Peter I'll send you another IM in just a sec.

Okay Peter I've sent you another IM here on SETI, you should be able to log in with that no worries. Let me know if you're still having issues.

What issues were you having specifically Steve? The more you guys tell us what's broken the sooner we can get the necessary fixes in place.

For the first few times I tried to set a password and log in, it wouldn't recconize my password, just a minute later. Once I created a password that met all the criteria, and it got accepted, it was fine. Before that I tried maybe 4-5 times, and it kept not recconizing my password. This was at the beginning of the Site, after it got to it's current location, so I know a lot of things were changed since then.

Have you had any current issues with the website? The old server was running at about a 10th of the speed of our current server. Our current server's space was donated by NKOL and sits on a beast of a machine.

I'll add that to my list of things to yell at Phil about. We'll get it sorted. We want the donation process to be as pain free as possible :)

If you check your SETI messages Peter you should have everything you need. If that doesn't work please email me directly at gpuugbrad@gmail.com.

Once I got my last password accepted, I have not had any problems at all. It's been months without a problem. It was only before my last password creation was accepted that I had troubles.

Did you check your PM's? It's the link to the top right of the SETI page that says "Private Messages" Simply go to http://www.gpuug.org/content/setihome-qty-10-jbod-hotswaptransport-2tb-harddrives, add however much you'd like to donate to your cart and check out. If you want to use your existing account use the account info I sent you in your Private Messages. If not, you can create a new account. Follow the prompts and donezo!

Success! Order number: 507

Sorry for all of the hassle Peter, I'm digging around to see what went wrong.

We're down to $14 to finish the fundraiser. Anyone want to finish us off?

I'm working on a fresh batch of green star reports to send into SETI right now. Keep an eye out for it to pop up.

I'm also going to get in touch w/ the SETI Team tomorrow in hopes I can get access to the star system for easier awards.

Stay tuned.

Peter and SciManSteve just finished off this fundraiser. You guys rock. Hang tight and I'll get the drives ordered from Newegg.

________________________________________

Okay 10 drives ordered.

Order Total $1,310.22

It seems Newegg dropped the price on these drives on Friday or Saturday which gives us about $50 left over. We'll roll this excess into our next fundraiser which I'm hoping will be out tomorrow or the following day pending my call with Eric.

I'll post tracking once I get it tomorrow. I'm betting these drives are delivered by Thursday this week.

Thanks everyone, our donors continue to amaze me with their generosity.

ETA : Purchase information is up http://www.gpuug.org/purchases and I've drafted a newsletter that should be sent out to those who signed up shortly.
