I just tried to install BOINC seti@home. After the auto restart my screen displayed.

NTLDR is missing
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart

When I do this the screen then changes and INTEL appears and in the lower right hand corner appears

BIOS settings<F2>
BOOT MENU:<F10>
I'm running windows 7. My computer skills are lacking.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Bob

Something has gone seriously wrong that machine. NT LDR is NT LoaDeR - a critical system component. This is not something that BOINC does.

In other words, you will need to reinstall Windows, or more probably start the machine with the rescue CD/DVD that you got. You would've gotten across this at any next time that you had restarted, it's a severe coincidence it happened after the BOINC installation.
