I've been crunching since 3/13, and may have caused a problem. I aborted some hung downloads which repeatedly rescheduled 6-8 hours in the future. They would get 80% but would not advance no matter how I babied and coerced. I also aborted two jobs attached to those downloads. I was running an x86 computer which had an erred job (I surmise due to the graphic processor) and switched to a x64 machine with 6Gb. Runs 3 jobs simultaneously with no problems

My question is can those aborted jobs be recovered and rerun? I think the big machine would be able to handle them if the download hang is cured.

Since you aborted them, they will be sent to someone else to crunch.

The Astropulse WU are 8MB downloads as opposed to 356k for the Multibeam units. They just have a higher chance to get stuck when we are close to maxing out the 100 Meg connection to the world that SETI uses.

Currently it is not too bad, but it looks to be picking up again.

Green is what is coming to us and the blue line at the bottom is what we are sending back.

Yup, it only takes two of them to do so. 100Mbit / 8 = 12.5MB, two APs = 16MB.

I see the graph shows pretty much maxed out.

One other question then I'll leave you alone.

Will the Astropulse ap reload to my machine(I'm pretty sure than was part of the stuck downloads I aborted).

No, tasks you aborted will be sent out to other computers. Only when the database appoints tasks to your computer, but they somehow didn't arrive and never downloaded, will these be sent to you at a later contact with the server.
