I would assume if his case went to appeal he would win, under the Human Rights Act, for his rights to family life. |

Nice standards you Ingleesh have! tut tut tut...got you riled have I? Put the Tricolour over all 32 counties & you ****** pull out & I'll be polite.... After spending a total of 26 years in British public service, I've earned the right to freedom of speech....what have you done? I've also noticed you rubbishing other nationalities, don't like do you when it's your turn.... |

I would assume if his case went to appeal he would win, under the Human Rights Act, for his rights to family life. So this positively negates your comments..... & from your favourite broadcaster at that.... UKBA criticised over convict deportations "Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights - the right to family life and a private life - was the most common reason for foreign national offenders not being deported". As the guy has served in Combat for this country & his wife is British, there will be no need for sympathy, under Article 8 he cannot be asked to leave & to be honest why should he! |

Put the Tricolour over all 32 counties & you ****** pull out & I'll be polite That's for the whole of Ireland to decide upon unilaterally and not for the UK Government to decide upon themselves, else there would be a hell of an upheaval....and we don't want any more of that. Totally agree Nick. Must admit that when I see comments/statements like that (either written or verbal) I tend to see red. So perhaps we might ask that whilst you choose to live in our country, you might be a bit more polite. "Whose Country?" While THIS country remains part of the Eurozone, I'm also covered by Article 8, so that comment can actually be construed as Racist! What we really need here is a government with the balls to act decivisly & get back to basics with laws working hand in hand with principals & morals. The scandals we've seen since the financial crash in 2008 makes it hard for an individual to state anything positive about our leaders over the past decade or so... ...it's about time they started listening....... ......& at the moment, I'll see pigs fly before that happens. |

You can't blame Tony Blair for everything, as tempting as it is, with his wife. Go back a few years (and a bit!), to when I was in the RAF. Some crazy woman called Thatcher got in...slashed the Defence budget by 30% (yes, not many Tory voters remember that bit)...bottom line was, people like me ended up almost queueing, to get out of the services. Moral was shot to bits...I dread to think what things are like in the services now. Six months later, The Falklands business got under way, with ships being 'rescued' from the 'scrappers torch', set in motion by that same lunatic woman. Six months after that, strategic (nationalised) utilities were being sold-off to any Tom, Dick and Harry, who fancied a guaranteed return, with no conscience needed. The income from those utilities was then diverted from the Treasury, to the private greedy bar-steward 'investor'! Thatcher's pathetic over-simplistic 'shop-keeper' mentality, is what has screwed this country, since!!! No-one can undo the sort of damage that wretched woman did to this country, although a Military Coup, might go far in addressing the balance. Take a look around you......... Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

What a Con Job! "It included plans for putting the bottom 10% of staff on probation and fired after a year if they fail to improve and ministers being given the power to choose who runs departments". What about getting rid of the useless muppets at the top? GSK says "thanks for the dosh! I see you got off the tube at Peckham instead of Stratford Del-boy. Chatting to Rodney again were we? That really will help turn the economy around & get the "Big Society" back to work. |

Del-boy in the mire "One thing is sure. Unless David Cameron uses his holiday to think big, he’ll have a lot more time for chillaxing". He's doing that anyway - chillaxing that is! |

What a lovely bunch of honest, caring, politicians we have running the country.... Lib Dems say we must divorce ourselves from the Tories Chucking the kitchen sink into the economy Boris for PM Del-boy's allies state that "Buffoon Boris" can never be PM ...and while they are arguing amongst themselves instead of running the country, Del-boy himself is arranging a deal for reduced costs of the UK's fuel imports..but Vladimir is saying...only if you get out of Syria..that's our turf! ...Del-boy's answer.... "Hmmnn...let me think on that one......" |

naw, that's a corrupt ingleeshman with his cricket bat giving Obama some lessons in how to wield a big stick. Nothing new coming from a Victorian pensioner who is forgetting that he's in the 21st century. I think History should be amended where Joseph Stalin is concerned - he often ignored the message & shot the messenger - he didn't think of that as it was a well known tactic of that "old Empire" overcrowded with Civil Serfants who then as now, go way out of their way to protect what they have & constantly fail to answer questions, so shoot the questioner. So what else is new then? |

Hey Del-boy, I hope you have your thinking cap on tight.... All over the West Coast, it's being announced that FirstGroup have won the West Coast Main Line bid before your government has announced the winner. Is that because you or someone in your government is getting a very large backhander from FirstGroup due to their outrageous £7bn bid? Just bare in mind the East Coast Main Line fiasco with GNER followed by National Express, to which the East Coast Main Line is still trying to recover from.... ...or are you thinking that the extra £1bn will look good in the Government's accounting office? Del-boy on the backfoot I suppose in one way, Sirius; at least he's building on success in a way, in many aspects something we have failed to do for years upon years in the UK.
