first off let me ask this, how big is the work load download? I've been downloading my work from the server for over 15 minutes now and it hasn't started yet. second, I've been doing this off and on since 2003 (well earlier than that but it says a member since nov 2003) and I have sometimes stopped in the middle of workloads, what happens to those lost fragments that I scanned but stopped in the middle? and how much credit do I need to be able to post in the other forums? What is the average amount of credit people have? Do I have a lot? For all the time I put into it I figured I should have a lot lol. I wish I had been able to continue every day for the past 9 years but this will do I suppose Total credit 10,188 Recent average credit 0.07 SETI@home classic workunits 966 SETI@home classic CPU time 9,147 hours |

first off let me ask this, how big is the work load download? I've been downloading my work from the server for over 15 minutes now and it hasn't started yet. As for the first question, if this happens all the time, we need to do some diagnostics. Could you start this by posting some relevant message log lines? Second: Tasks that fail are redistributed to someone else to process. Last: You need a Recent Average Credit {RAC} of at least 1 to post in the main forums. BOINC WIKI |
