If you use BoincRescheduler you and your wing men will receive less credit for the WU, something like (1/3 or less credit per WU or even less). I don´t know if there are any way to avoid that.

I never saw this issue, but I have heard of people mention it. For well over a year, or maybe longer, I was using rescheduler to move work to the GPU instead of letting BOINC download work for it. The credit remained rather since I have switched back to letting the GPU fetch work. However I am only about 7 months into the 2nd run.

Just looked at my single-core machine and it also does not have a single scheduler failure in the log. Every single one is successful, though "project has no tasks available" is all that I get for a reply. Right after the outage yesterday, it got three new MBs and hasn't gotten any new tasks since, and a few have reported just fine.

Same problem here with my fastest machine, got three others in the same room on the same connection working fine.

Editing cc_config.xml to 2/5/10/12/15/20/100 didn't work either.

Thankfully I always keep the work amount on 10 days so there's lots more to be done yet, would be nice to report sometime soon though, don't want to lose all of this work!

Should you be able to report a task or tasks or do you know if this ever happened if the message Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error comes back to you in return?

If you read the whole thread, you'll see that we've been discussing exactly that error message since 20:54 last night: from message 1202688

SETI@home 05/03/2012 20:48:15 Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
SETI@home 05/03/2012 20:48:15 Reporting 25 completed tasks, not requesting new tasks
SETI@home 05/03/2012 20:50:36 Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error

Yes, it has happened before - famously, in 'The Great Outage of May 2007'. They'll fix it during maintenance tonight.

Still no luck here. Tried the max tasks reported tweak in cc config on my top rig, 2 consecutive attempts to report just 10 tasks still got the HTTP server error. Will have to wait until after the outage and hope they sort it.

Hi Michel,
Yeah, me too, I had over 36 hours worth of results on 2 rigs.
My ISP had a major outage in my area, 3 postal code areas down for 36 hours.
I still cant believe they only had ONE qualified engineer to deal with a major problem, and he only showed up 18 hours after it started..

Bleeding Branson needs to get his act together and leave spaceflight untill he's sorted out his earthside business:-(

So when boinc tried to report it got the http error every time.
So I used the 10 result limit, and kept on pressing update:-)

Eventually got through the backlog, cant remember how many times I pressed update:-) but it was lots.

Hope it does get fixed during mainteneance, because I removed the limit after I'd got rid of my result reports. Dont want to have to put it back again.

Had to do that on both rigs.. But at least it worked for me, looks as if Mark is still having problems though..

Cheers,
Cliff,

Got some new work on my slow system.

Nothing from my other systems yet, haven't been able to report about 200 tasks.

16:28hrs UTC should be 08:28 in Berkeley..

Well I guess it was a busy day yesterday, and no ones expecting murphy today:-)

I guess I will be able to have a couple of new tasks before maintenance starts up today?

And if I am not wrong, this actually is true. Nice done.

One of my tasks apparently makes it quite well when it comes to the graphics.

But Base frequency is exactly 1.420000000 GHz for this task. Is this just another reason for writing off this one as well?

Success at last! I now "just" need to reload the WU cache.

Since all your computers are running 6.10.xx and max_tasks_reported is a 6.12.xx feature I doubt your attempts will be successful.

<max_tasks_reported>N</max_tasks_reported>
report at most N tasks per scheduler RPC. Try N=1000 if your computer has lots of tasks to report and is having trouble completing a scheduler RPC. New in 6.12

Something is still not right as scheduler requests are getting failure when receiving data from peer. There is no massive downloads like normal either.

I managed to get 200 tasks reported but the last 65 do not want to go.

Reporting etc seems to be OK now.
