From previous..

It's going to be interesting to see how close to zero results out in the field we get for AP, before they start sending out new AP workunits. As of now, we have 86,770 AP results out in the field.

It could be that the next time the AP splitters run here, they could be splitting AP v6 Wu's instead of v505 Wu's, we'll see in time,

I assume this will also mean that it will be many many months before there's a checkbox on the preferences page specifically for v6, as well. I mean, we all know what happened for 505...

so how we will able to tell the server we accept those v6 ? :P

Two ways. "accept work from other applications" and hope for getting a few even if you have MB unchecked. Or.. in combination with that, edit your app_info so that you only have an app for v6. If the server tries giving you MB, it'll see that you don't have anything that can crunch it, so it won't assign them to you.

I had to do that with my app_info for v505, and still do, except now I can uncheck "accept work from other applications."

It's all in the app_info.

May I make a suggestion? Talk regarding to AP versions 6 & 7 should be moved to a new thread IMHO. Reason being I can't see any relevance to 'current' server problems. Am I missing something?

SAH-assimilators are sleeping drunken. 35,290 waiting for assimilation. It's time for panic, I'm sure! :)

Ok, who turned the splitters into a black hole while we were down?

Somebody must be reporting tasks, because my 'pending' is going down, and my credit is going up.

But I'm still getting "Internal server error".....

OK, let's try to narrow it down. My hosts are typically running app_info, with applications for MB on both CPU and NVidia - but no astropulse (I periodically get 'your app_info has no entry for AP_505'). And preferences set to GPU only, not CPU. Others?

Edit - succeeded in reporting 10 tasks. ISE on other machines, reporting 26/27/31.

Well, these are my machines that are having HTTP errors (the slowest machine may not have tried to report in yet) -- feel free to dig around in the publicly accessible database to see if there's any commonality. Mixture of home and work, Windows and Linux here...

All three of mine are running app_info; CPU and GPU, as well as AP. All three are getting the internal server error message.

No change in the applications installed on the server. No change in the choices available on the preferences pages. My successful report was on the same venue as the ISE failures.

Any word on the numbers of tasks you're failing to, or succeeding in, reporting?

I think I see it now. MB and MB CUDA can be reported, but AP tasks gets the "Internal server error". All of my hosts that could report, had only CUDA to report, the one with only AP to report can't do it.

Doesn't work for me. I'm only reporting MB CUDA.
