Mankind longs for proof that we are not alone in the universe, but the moment of first contact will certainly mean the end of the world as we know it. Whether that is a bad thing for humanity or the beginning of a great future is the subject of much debate. In this special episode of the critically-acclaimed series Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, we'll meet scientists probing the big questions: Will any species we encounter be warlike? How will we talk to creatures with whom we share no common ground? Could they have come here already? And can we visit aliens on their own turf?

We may be alone in this Universe but at the same time not have been alone as
the only source of intelligent life. There may well have been others out there
but their life's time span of existence may be over and have become extinct.
If this be the case then trying to find evidence of their existence will be very
hard indeed. This may be a reason why, so far, we have been unable to detect
evidence of other extraterritorial civilisation because their radio waves for
example have long passed by our planet.

cant wait the third season

I don't think it the third season starts until June. Glad most of you watched the show. I don't buy everything physicist Michio Kaku, says. Everyday we are finding new things, about this universe. Matter, dark matter, dark flow, black holes, etc. I think the things I mentioned, changes my view about life beyond our solar system.

I don't think it the third season starts until June. Glad most of you watched the show. I don't buy everything physicist Michio Kaku, says. Everyday we are finding new things, about this universe. Matter, dark matter, dark flow, black holes, etc. I think the things I mentioned, changes my view about life beyond our solar system.

We will discover whats out there when, in time, we are able to circumnavigate
out galaxy and return to earth within one year. Until we can do this then the
best we can hope for, regarding extraterritorial life, is that coming from the ears
of seti. Still, had we now the ability to circumnavigate out galaxy in a
year it would still take us most probably several hundred years to completely
explore the milky way. Which leads me on to have we possibly been visited by
aliens in the past? Well, if we have then these aliens were very-very lucky
in finding us. For we, then, were not advertising our existence to the rest
of the universe such as we are doing today.
