I have a massive backlog of 400+ tasks downloading and still going nowhere. Madness.

/me think the splitters should be renamed to "SPLATTERS", or "SPLOTTERS".

I understand your tag line of
"I'm so old, that 98% of all trees in the forest, are younger than I am"
Impressive since you live near Weott Californa, right?

Yes I live near Weott California, but only if some unknown entity relocated Weott California to Sweden, while I slept last night.

Requests for work result in "Project has no tasks avalable" messages, network traffic has just dropped off.
Ready to send is 0, result creation rate is 0. And there's a lot of red & orange on the Server Status page.

See the new post in News. Work production is turned off due to a problem with the new table.

And awa-a-ay we go! (To the dump, to the dump, to the dump-dump-dump...)

[Edit] Just in case that passed people by, be it known that in Australia "first Tuesday in November, they run the Melbourne Cup" (a song by the Hawking Brothers that I can't find on utu.be) -- one of the richest horse races in the world. Concomitantly, on the morning of the first Tuesday in November many Australian radio stations play a classic Spike Jones and his City Slickers track, which is based in part on the William Tell Overture by Rossini (To the ... etc) [/Edit]

I hope that they're using a stronger table this time so there won't be anymore collapsing problems. :D

Cheers.

Why is that when all 3 of mine are bouncing back off the limits again?

I have enough to last that long.

Cheers.

It'd be nice if the DCF problem could be sorted out. Then the server side limits could be removed. Then these system hiccups wouldn't have any effect; our caches would carry us through.
