So, we've lost all of our previous minutes, except for the one copy I found. Hmmm this is a fine How d'ya do and no mistake. Still it does mean that we'll probably get away with that £100 to re-cloth the snooker table which we voted through last year when the ladies weren't looking.

I think we'll relegate the matter of the lost records to the AGM in August, and in the meantime we'd be most obliged if the Treasurer would release enough funds to enable Brother Clark J to purchase a suitable replacement receptacle for future Committee paperwork.

By the way, anyone know who the Treasurer is? The builders appear to be getting paid but the offshore A/C in Bermuda is a tad worrying.

Now let's think.
Sparky looks after the wiring and electrics
I look after the bar
Chris is the Secretary
John is i/c building maintenance (major projects)
Nick & Simonator are "ordinary members" with no specific portfolio

Treasurer must be the vacancy then...

I almost forgot the two female "ordinary members" (who most certainly have portmanteaux if not portfolios..)

Brother Smith, I must remonstrate with you at once to save you from a fate worse than death.

female "ordinary members"

We have Honorary Lady Members, that have a right of veto.

If the Treasurers position is currently vacant then who is signing the cheques from Bermuda, and will we be liable for Corporation tax?

Can't read my own shorthand - it might be "honorary" when I squint again.

That is indeed a good question, who indeed is signing the cheques - not only those for the builders, but also the food and drink suppliers, and the staff wages...

staff wages...

Um er, the accounts refer to it as a "modest" honorarium.

I didn't realise the Treasurer post is unfilled. Is that why Claggy keeps coming to me for cheque signatures for the building works?

Please not purple. Now some lilac in a vase would be nice, while it is in season. That brings me to the point, what is the status of the flower garden in the back?

I like to see a blue and white theme. Shouldn't you lot also awaite other Ladies input.

Can we have a point of order here, if possible, "issue"...."Who's going to
do the gardening"?

Haven't they started yet...
I hope they do so soon as during the summer months there are a lot of folks who enjoy to "roam around" in the open air (particularly among some of the more elaborate aromatic shrubs

We could hold a Summer Garden Party, entry free, provided you do some weeding?

Just invite Dune!

He would clear the weeds, the shrubbery and much else beside (no charge).

Or is that "on a charge of wanton destruction?"

Patio furniture? BBQ?

btw The cat we got as a mouser for the cellars turned out to be a she.
I'm afraid she is using the snooker table as a nursery.
That happens if you guys hide the key and don't play often enough!

On the plus side we now have a set of adorable kittens.

So an agreement has been reached to prevent the tanker strike, according to BBC News. Must have given the Wincanton drivers a new pair of Hush Puppies.
