Need help understanding why SETI@home still not sending workunits.
I had connectivity problems in January, but those were resolved when my wireless provider dropped the bandwidth limiter in Feb.

einstein@home workunits are humming along, but I've never ever been able to connect successfully to the seti@home servers to download workunits since I reconnected my SETI rig to the Internet after being offline for 4 months.

What settings can I change to reliably diagnose and fix the problem?

I've tried turning off image verification (no change). In the past, I had HTTP 502 errors, so I manually grabed the client programs & supporting image files, using the Coral CDN (add .nyud.net to the end of the host part of the URL), but that doesn't work for workunits.

When I reset the project, it tried reconnecting normally to re-download the client, but kept failing with truncated files. Are there still problems in reliably connecting through the network at Berkeley? Do I really need a proxy server? The problem I have now seems more fundamental, if the error messages are to be believed.

Is the "not reporting or requesting tasks" a message from the seti@home server, or from my client?

Is there a reason this is so difficult?
