Understand that there was a server problem the last day or two. But while that was happening, who stole the WUs? Where are the tapes? Did ET sneak down to prevent our discovering him?

No, ghost units show up on the system but not on the hosts and anyway, with 'resend lost results' enabled they evetually get to you.

As far as we can tell, the splitters were producing only errors - possibly because the tasks could not be entered into the database. So basically there hasn't been useful work split for a few days. Even now only two tapes are mounted so splitting is at slightly less than it's possible maximum. What with most big rigs empty, it will take a while before any noticiable 'ready to send' builds up again.

The question is rather - will the tapes be resplit?
