Ahoy, shipmates!

The European Southern Observatory ESO has published a most detailed infrared image of the Carina Nebula stellar view: ESO operates three observing sites in Chile, including the Very Large Telescope VLT.

Found some other interesting images and videos from the ESO site, too:, Here is an example: “Zooming on Terzan 5”,—this even might associate in one’s mind with Harry Martinson’s epic poem “Aniara”.
