It has been awhile since we had one of these treads, so time for a new one:

What's your desktop wallpaper?

At present, I'm:

But I've a steampunk themed shoot coming up in a few weeks, so been thinking about switching to this one, for planning inspiration:

I rotate through airplane photos, changing every week or two. I select them on historical interest, or plain beauty, or, in this case, some of both.

Careful, do not bump into the monitor, or they will all fall over. ;-)

It depends on the monitor.

My laptop currently has a group photo of some Cub Scouts.

The desktops have a wall paper changer that grabs from National Geographic photos.

Much assorted clutter; a half-dozen half-finished half-forgotten reports and articles, a twix, a bottle of Covonia, two watches, a permanent marker, three University access cards, a waterproof camera that wasn't, some ibuprofen tablets, various pens and pencils of indeterminate usability, a hole punch that won't, sheet music for Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, several indelible coffee-mug-sized brown halos, a 6-inch flick knife, a paper plate, a pair of snipe-nosed pliers, a laminator that doesn't, some chocolate coins that went off several christmases ago, ear plugs, condoms, stereo remote control that can't, a coffee mug whose contents are beginning to evolve, anti-perspirant that isn't, the remnants of several gismos pulled apart to see how they work causing them not to, a diver's rope cutter, a blowtorch and a number of other items whose purpose and reason for being i've long since forgotten.
