But all in all, once out of the UK Scotland would get to be accepted in to the
EU eventually.

Yes, the Catalonia issue....

Former PM's warning

"Scotland could perhaps - in time - adopt the Euro. But first she must apply to join the EU, where many states would have concerns about the accession of a separatist member.

He added: "Even if Scotland were to enter, she would discover that within the EU the clout of the smaller population nations is small. Time and again, she might regret the loss of automatic British backing."

Yes, the Catalonia issue....

Former PM's warning

A spokesperson for Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said: "Sir John Major is quite wrong to try and claim that the rest of the UK should lay exclusive claim to all the assets of the UK, which the people of Scotland contribute to and of which Sterling is one.

Listen, "Fish head"!! you ain't getting the Pound if you leave the UK, got it!!
So stop promising that which you know, and have been told, you can't deliver.
Any further drop in the "YES" votes count in the poles and you will be pulling this
fascicle independence referendum any way. Fancy holding a referendum on an
issue that you know your going to loose on, seems mighty strange to me?

His deputy is called Nicola Sturgeon, there's something distinctly fishy about this whole business.

Well it looks like they're selling their "soles" to the devil, in which case the subs from Faslane can stay at "Dover".

Terrible designs

The top one looks like the colours have broken on my screen.
The second one would be livable with.
The third will give epileptics a fit.
Fourth and fifth are too complicated.
Sixth has missed the point.
Seventh to tenth look mismatched and ugly.
Eleventh looks like a pretentious business card.

Public designs
The funniest design i thought was the line through the irn-bru.
The best designs i think are Dave Parker's and Adrian's (minus the crown).

Boxed above our weight in science and engineering for many a long year.
Plenty of scientific discoveries made yet to be disclosed though, ask the Yanks
about the "******* fighter"?? It might have been to others but it wasn't to us.
Didn't take us long to come up with a method to detect it but we failed to inform
the Yanks and when they found out they got a little upset. Yes, as pals, we should
have told them immediately.

Since when does an independent Scotland mean the destruction of science, or the English scientific heritage? Will Newton or Darwin's scientific contribution be any less when the UK will no longer include Scotland?
