Tut,tut, tut. For one who finds Old English offensive, I'd of thought you would be able to recognise sarcasm with blindfolds on, but then, what more can be expected from a Welshman.

That's amazing......seeing as I've just been posting what I see as the state of the country & adding my comments. Yet you still reply, seems the posts are topical enough.

Second, I'd like to know which of the 2000 odd posts I've acutally used profanity? Sorry, make that 5000 odd....think I need new glasses.

The word I used was an old Dutch word meaning fourth: A Quarter, as in "a quarter of a barrel".

In Old English it meant: -
A Small wooden keg.
An obsolete unit of mass or volume.

So in the context I used it:

A small wooden obsolete unit of blubber(mass) which is an hilarious image. However, as you put the perception into peoples minds of swearing & unfortunately, mine as well as I now perceive it as such, shows just what your mindset is.

If you felt that way, why did you post in those threads?

Bye Bye UK, it's sad to see you go, but maybe its time the muppets were taught a lesson.....

.......go against the wishes of the electorate & be looked down upon for the rest of their lives......

........Unless you can do a Cronie B-liar jobbie & seek election as President of Timbuktu!

Is this the handshake that destroys Britain?

They'll not vote for it Sirius. If as you stated earlier 9/10th of them are
on some form of handouts then they will vote for the hand that feeds them.
Knowing that this money originates primarily from the UK purse then voting for
independence will mean a cut in the amount paid out to them. It would not
surprise me if the SNP aren't actually far-right Tories in disguise and if they
win the vote then their not going to be throwing the money about too freely.
Canny Scotsman, yes when it's their money but not necessarily so when it has
been provided for - by someone else.
Salmon is banking on all this Euro and recession business being over by 2014.
With every thing back to normal by then and growth in the Scottish economy
providing a reasonably healthy stream of tax's coming in. I've got news for
him, "It ain't gonna be anything like that, it's going to be the reverse".
I think that by 2014 we will be suffering from the double "D", no not double-dip
recession but DEFLATION & DEPRESSION.

Yep! Many think that this crisis will be done & dusted by 2014/16, poor fools!

We'll be lucky if we get back to pre 2008 prosperity by 2020.

Just what were these muppets taught in school? Here we go....

....turning the clock back several hundred years! Didn't they learn about Feudal Europe & the problems with that system?

Lib-Dems to unveil "Home Rule" plan.

Haven't they learnt anything from the Irish "Home Rule" debacle?

Lib-Dems to unveil "Home Rule" plan.

Is the background behind this idea more to do with Campbell thinking along the
same lines as Sirius and myself, "Britain looks likely to be pulling out of the
ECM some time soon". To this end Campbell would like to see a similar
type Brussels set-up operating in the UK. A set-up creating plenty of government
jobs for the boy's and their immediate families just the way it is in Brussels.
Keep control of Britain in the hands of the self-proclaimed ruling classes by
creating plenty of positions of rule, well, what is on Campbell's mind here?
For the Brussels government system does not appear to work well for Europe
so why should it work for the UK then? Bringing all these extra mini-governments
into play can easily lead to the ultimate government authority over them all
finally getting run by non-elected bodies. This is how Brussels runs with the
principle of, "You don't need a direct line of contact with us as you have this
via your local government body, they make the contact with us, on your behalf,
not you. Mr Campbell, you clearly have not learnt a thing whilst being in
politics have you. What you have failed to realise is that Britain needs less
government not more. May I make a suggestion Sire, how about disbanding half
of all local councils in Britain and expanding the remainders areas of
responsibility and start making some of them earn their keep.

but scrapping half of them and doubling the responsibility on those left is simply not practical.

Is this so because they are just not capable of implementing efficiency methods
that would make this feat possible?

Now Salmon wants the SNP to overturn it's traditional anti-Nato stance...
...why's that Alex??. How can one be anti-Nato when part of the UK but
pro-Nato when your out of the UK. Alex, your a right D-head !!

I would have thought by now that the British political system would have
had systems in place to stop rissoles like you getting into positions of
authority.....God help the British, who else is running around loose like this!!

No chance of the majority of the Welsh ever voting for independence.
They know too well that upon independence then the north would wish to
split from the south. Then the south, who speak English, would be left on their
own wondering why did we go for independence in the first place. No, no ones
going to vote for independence for independence is an ideological dream in
the minds only of a few non-achieving, low ability, I wont power politicians.

Making Scotland independent is not going to make it any better off. Simply
because it has the same interfering, meddling, full of self importance politicians
stopping the country from winning as are left behind in Westminster post
independence.
