My mom cooks them with onions and bacon. I LOVE Brussels Sprouts; I even eat the occasional one raw... MMMMmmm mini-cabbages... :-)

I'm going to stir the pot a bit and simply say, sprouts are horrid :)

By themselves they are, no shame in saying that, My Brother used to cook them, but since 2004 I haven't had any, I think He used garlic butter on them, tasted good and not bitter.

I'm sure done right they could be palatable but I just can't stand the smell, taste and texture of them.

I guess that in your country
there may be a law against not
liking anything named Brussels.

My Mother was from Texas and majored in Home economics, She sure could cook, but She never cooked sprouts, though She did introduce greens and She didn't like liver(neither do I, My Brother did though, well there's no accounting for taste I guess), Brussels Sprouts was introduced to Me by My late Brother, He was almost as good as Mom too, Me I can cook very well since Mom taught Me almost everything about cooking, My Brother just added to that.

Brussels Sprouts should be classified as a "weapon of mass disgust"...

That's what I thought before My Brother cooked them, then I was hooked... but to each their own.

Mmmmm...Brussels sprouts...

Preferably covered in Garlic to make them taste better...

It is impossible to make them taste better.

Less bad, perhaps, but never palatable.

Yep, I can tolerate quite a bit of fish or beef patties or even chicken. But then I don't have to put up with eggs and green ham...
