I don't like the pizza from Pizza Hut.We went eating there a few weeks ago and it tasted like plastic. The best pizza you can eat is in an italian restaurant. My home made pizza is also very good I must say.

The Domino's out here at least uses fresh ingredients where possible & bakes them immediately. Pizza Hut is ok, theirs has never tasted like plastic or cardboard to Me... It's said that people who smoke can't taste as well as those who don't, just saying that's all, no offense meant.

None taken. It's funny though that you know I smoke. I never told anyone here I think.

I know what yer thinking, Boo! psych... No I didn't know what Yer thinking or that ya smoked Julie, I can't see the smoke from here, 28 years of experience with a smoker is all that I have, My Mom smoked like a smoke stack, said almost the same things on some foods, She didn't really think much of pizza either, yet She could cook taught Me everything I know about cooking, once off of work She wanted to hide, smoke and drink and I know why all too well, but I digress. I got 2nd hand smoke as a result, which I tried My best to avoid, someone had to take care of Her, as She was ill equipped to survive on Her own, as the jobs that paid good that needed detail work under a microscope had all dried up. Now the smoker is nothing but ashes waiting for Her "ashtray" on My bedroom closet shelf in a box in a bag... sigh...

Here is the recipe for cherry sauce Uli.

Ingredients

2 10-ounce bags frozen pitted cherries, preferably sour ones
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup plus 1/4 cup water,divided
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup lemon juice

Preparation

Bring cherries, sugar and 2/3 cup water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring often. Stir 1/4 cup water and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth and stir into the boiling cherry mixture. Return to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.

Enjoy!

Thank you Julie. I have a sour cherrie tree to, but I think it is to late now to try it with fresh ones.

Like the recipe says, you can always take the frozen ones.

Here's a couple of pictures of a two layer cake I found online, plus a story Here on the Huffington Post/FOOD section, these cake makers are really good to pull this off...

Francesca Pitcher from North Star Cakes in the UK created an amazingly realistic cake for her daughter's birthday that looks exactly like a Burmese python. She put some photos up on her Facebook page and before she knew it the photos began to spread around online.

It's truly touching reading her comments as she updates fans as the cakes begin to spread around. She writes:

I am, honoured, flattered and utterly terrified this morning as the wonderful Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes tweeted a picture of my snake cake out to his 40,000 followers last night with the word 'AMAZING!!' and a link to my FB page. Who would of thought that the cake I made for my daughter's birthday party would cause such a stir and bring me a little closer to my idol.

A closeup, whoever did this frosting job is really good...

This thread needs a Cheesy BUMP, so be it...

Wisconsin Cheese Mart Strikes Gold With Old Cheese Discovery

Wisconsin Cheese Mart plans on selling this 40-year-old cheese

So what does cheddar taste like when it's been sitting around since 1972, the year "The Godfather" was released and when gas was 55 cents per gallon?

"If you get a piece close to the outside, it's all crystallization, so it's crunchy like Corn Flakes," McNulty said. "As you get closer to the interior, it's creamier and overwhelmingly sharp."

Does anyone have particularly good recipes for fresh and delicious make-ahead meals? My brother and sister-in-law recently had a new baby. As I visit them across the course of the next few months, I would like to show up with various "dinners in a box" that they can basically heat and eat. This weekend I am making them some chicken enchiladas, but after this I'm really out of ideas.

All I can think of are MRE's, but that isn't really what You want, but they are Riley close.

I apologize, I was out of town when this question was posed.

Yes, it does have a couple of different sausage attachments. It can also be used for grinding nuts for various cookies(bisquits to those east of the atlantic)

tons of ideas, but my long answer got eaten by my bad internet connection.

Burritos any caserole that is non seafood lasagna (breakfast burritos) almost any stew pot pies, pasties/empendadas/calzones.. almost anything you can put on a plate that is not fresh leafy veggies or seafood can be heat and eat.

learning my way around a kitchenaid .... with several accessories.

I am having fun making some delicious messes!!

Lori always says that my appetite for whatever is put upon the table is one of my few remaining attributes......LOL.
We just talked about this tonight.
I just so hate making decisions, and was taught at an early age that 'you will eat what is on the table or you don't eat'.....

Send me your experiments, dear.

LOL.
