Im stuck at waiting to contact project servers.. is there an issue now to get data to fold?

When I open the Bionc Manager all it says at the bottom is "connecting to local host", it hasn't connected and done any work for quite awhile now so I finally came on here to check things out. Even all my stats and stuff in my account say 0, as if I've never done anything. I've been doing this for years not and this is the first time it's ever happened to me.

Have you been away for awhile and are now returning? You don't appear to have any systems attached to S@H. Go to the tools tab in BOINC, select S@H, choose existing user, and enter the same email address and password as when you created the account.

Can someone actually help or is this project totally dead? I dont understand.. i press update, reset project all the time but it seems nothing happens. I got a new graphics card and wanna fold some. I let the program run overnight and it doesnt look like it did any work, keep getting no work available...

No work available means that (at least temporarily) there is no work. Temporarily can mean anything from a few microseconds to a couple of weeks depending on what is happening with the servers.

BTW, SETI@Home is not folding, it is a Search for Extra Terresterial Intelligence

Looks like you have received new tasks about an hour after your post, so things should be good now. BTW, I think someone else in a different thread told you, but resetting the project is something that should ONLY be done in EMERGENCIES. It wipes all your work off your system, whether it is done or not.

No I haven't been away. I was having some problems with my screensaver not coming on but I got that fixed. I've tried going to tools and doing that but nothing happens. No popup comes up asking for that stuff. I did download the BioncView (which everytime I try to connect to seti it freezes on me) and it says "Bionc client running, but not allowing access via GUI RPC" and I have no clue what that means if anything.

I've been doing this for years not and this is the first time it's ever happened to me.

Having trouble getting the project to restart after shutting it down for a while to let PC concentrate on some work my wife was doing. How do I restart? When I click the oval that says to allow tasks nothing is happening.
