	Now Obama is confusing republicans by stealing their thunder and proposing to do things they have been trying to do. But cutting off one of the tentacles of the federal bureaucracy has always been a difficult task. It seems to me that Jimmy Carter tried and failed to streamline the federal governmet. Obama may find himself at odds with the AFL/CIO over this one. ____________ Bob DeWoody
