Vic
I think Scare is driving south, but James is flying north. All good. Had a bit of rain yesterday and one grumble.

I was supposed to go south, but at the last minute they re-routed me west. But last night I enjoyed a thunderstorm and 50 degree temperatures. The down shot was I had to drive 600 miles and camp out on a mountain top at 9000 feet to partake of that refreshing weather!

That's a pretty good analogy, Victor! At least they are predicting some slightly cooler weather in the next week. Some rain would sure come in handy, too.

Very hot and humid today. In the morning we had sunshine and blue skies, in the afternoon it started to rain but it only rained for a little while. Waiting for the thunderstorms to come so it cools down a bit. Temps around 32°C

We didn't get the expected thunderstorms yesterday evening. Today the temperatures were nice, 25°C, but it's still very humid. It was clouded during the day but in the evening it cleared up.

Looks like we are going to be getting a cold core T’ – storm: Plus a tornado warning.
I got some mowing done this morning, and then I got tired so I stopped working with the idea of doing some more this afternoon. Well that idea has all fallen down in rain.

Another day of heat index advisories with temps in the 100°-105°f (38°-41°c) range. Highs to be in the lower to mid 90's all next week. Slight chances for some rain. The drought is taking a heavy toll on crops all across the region.
To help conserve water I'll be drinking only beer until we get some meaningful precipitation.

My favorite part of summer is when the skies become electrified and booming with noise.

We've had rather large electrical storms 2 mornings in a row. 4am & 2am. Not my favourite part of Summer at that time of day.

- Not to mention the ridiculous amounts of rain. Both storms bought a whole months rainfall with them! July is now the wettest on Record here, by a long way now.

The weather was practically the same as yesterday. Only much colder, 18°C. Wednesday will be the best day of the week they say, then we get 28°C but then the humidity will be back I think.
