Message 1258100 - Posted: 9 Jul 2012, 17:27:39 UTC - in response to Message 1258097.

Dull weather today. It has been clouded all day with lots of wind and rather cold for the time of year with temperatures around 18°C. Tomorrow we're expecting the same weather.

Trade you - or maybe split the difference.
It's 90F(32C) at 10:20 am PDT, forecast is for 104-106F(40C).
And not a cloud in sight.

I would trade your summer with our "autumn" in a second!

106F? It'll be hotter than that here today or at least the predicted temp is supposed to be 109F, tomorrow 111F, it's been 115F in the past here. The park replaced the old cooler pump, a 69" belt's next of course, but the guy has to go to the Home Depot in Barstow CA, probably on Tuesday, hopefully in the morning the swamp cooler will be fixed.

Oh, I'm sorry man. You're right in the middle of that...
As soon as one area cools down, it gets ridiculously hot somewhere else. The northeast has cooled. But it looks like in less than a week it will be mid 90's again.

It was so hot here to-day...
How hot was it?
We have had over 30C for the last five days so I had to turn all of my computers off. Everything will stay off until it gets a little cooler here.
Hey Vic, I know it is nuthin’ compared to what you are getting, but for us it is very hot.

Arkayn must live in the hottest of areas. He consistently has 100+.

I'm sorry man. lol, I hope at least you're used to the heat.

Not really, I am mostly sticking in my bedroom that has 2 A/C units blowing cold air in.

Updated the signature as the old one no longer reported where I was.

It's 112F & 9% humidity here, 113F predicted for Wednesday, I can feel the heat through the floor or at least I could earlier, I had to discontinue crunching as the temp inside reached 84F, it's 82F now and I'm cooking My dinner in the oven at 425F until 5:45pm PT, it's that or a sandwich... Plus I have the 57" TV on and I'm playing Gundam Seed destiny vol 1 in the DVD player. Taking a nap in 83F temps was ok as I had the floor fan on medium to help somewhat.

It's dropped to 109F outside, but the floor still feels anything but cool to My feet.

Still warm here, but the Delta Breexe is picking up. Forecast 58f for the night, but I will take anything below 70f.

Me too, It's 99F now as I type this, on nights like this I leave the cooler on overnight, in the morning it's nice and cool out and I turn it off, normally when it gets real hot out I'd turn the cooler to high cool from low cool, but since the belt needs replacement that isn't possible so until further notice I'm discontinuing crunching after 10am and not restarting until around 8pm or so.

Yep, we are having our Julu heatwave. Thank goodness we don't have to deal with browm out like we did in 2000/1

If We get a power outage in July/August it's from wind gusts snapping poles, the desert does tend to dry them out, 1 year along Yermo Rd over a half dozen poles just snapped, there went our power for something like maybe 6 hours or so.
