Yes lets talk about the weather.

In upstate NY we were supposed to have light rain yesterday afternoon, clearing tonight and being sunny in the coming AM.

It rained heavy yesterday afternoon, and now we are having continued rain this early AM as well as plenty of lightning and thunder.

And oh yes I'm enjoying the show. I live for the thunder.

ps: what's weird about the weather here, is... Everything! Normally our winters are pretty fierce with about 90-100 inches+ (230cm+) of snow per year. We had 60 inches last year!, wow... and unseasonably warm all winter.

High to mid-90s through Friday, then down to 85 for the weekend.
Breezy, no rain, but cooler than last weekend.
More like normal.

The third dry sunny cloudless warm (@18C - rising to 22C) in a row. I will do some weeding later and the enclosed garden shoud see the temperature rise to 25C this afternoon.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

In Cars the one to say that Won and yet lost, I'd rather be lightning as Thunder is slower... ;)

It was a dull day today, very clouded but it stayed dry with temps around 20°C. I hope tomorrow will be better as summer starts then.

Well, it's just started absolutely bucketing it down here. Saves me watering the garden tomorrow :)

That looks like either a volcanic eruption or a wildfire, both can make their own weird weather, one can rain bombs, lava bombs.

Well, we've had the wettest June here, in the UK, since official rain figures
were record back in 1909. How's July going to turn out, not too good so far.

This last weekend was 106F and humid. Glad I got the air conditioner fixed before the steam bath we had for weather.

The only area of the car a/c that still needs fixing is under the dash, I'd dumped nearly $600 under the hood only to find out the place couldn't work under the dash inside My car, that'll probably be another $300 or so.

Ian, that is some lightening strike

Had rain this morning, no thunder or lightning, yet, humidity is 42% at present and it's 80F so far outside, the cooler is on max air output, low just won't do today, inside it's 78F and 68% humidity...

My a/c for the place is not hooked up, it would have cost between $2000 and $6000 from the estimates I'd gathered, not inexpensive to have done.

You have a weakening cold front over you at the moment followed by another
intensifying cold front coming over you later. So, Julie-woooolie do expect
at least some rain over-night.

These are window A/C units in my bedroom/crunching den.

The house A/C only gets run on occasion.

72F and 72% currently, it is raining.
