My SET@home screensaver is saying "no active projects" and the BOINC manager shows two projects awaiting download (but not actually downloading). The status says "download pending : project backoff 00:1:40

What is happening? Anyone know?[/img]

And how do you expect that the computations will begin before the task is downloaded?

"download pending : project backoff" happens often when the network line to SETI is overloaded:

I wasn't expecting that obviously.

I was just surprised that the computer hadn't already downloaded some more data ready to start processing before it had finished the previous jobs. Usually it does that, ie overlaps them. This morning it left itself with no data to process. I was just surprised, that's all.
