	Ahoy, shipmates! The BBC World Service Discovery is running a two-part series, “Seti: an array of hope”, by Jason Palmer, the BBC Science reporter. Part one will be broadcast today, and there then seems to be a podcast available, too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-16265519 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00mp4b1 In the main role appear to be the present financial problems of the Seti Institute and the Allen Telescope Array. Seti@home and other UC Berkeley SETI efforts are being noted, too. It goes even further: see e.g. the part about Prof. Paul Davies of the Beyond Center at Arizona State University. Regards PK Finland

	Pasi, I read the article and listened to the podcast. Both were very good. Its good to know that at least a few groups are taking this search seriously. Even if its difficult to fund the search. John. ____________
