Sadly I have just learnt that one of my favourite authors Anne McCaffery died on 21st November 2011.

Her series of books about the Dragons of Pern have been a firm favourite with since the 80's when I discovered her books.

She will sadly missed by many readers.

A person who makes no mistakes, creates nothing.

I Loved her "Brainship series and the Pern Books along with others(PTB and Crystal Singers)"...She will be missed.
I Hope that Todd Keeps some of them Alive with in Her Honor.

Yes, We are all diminished some by the loss, but life will go on, as It has for uncounted eons.

Anne McCaffrey gone - indeed a cause for sadness.

But her works remain, and may they always remain in print for others to share and enjoy.

Thank you, Anne, for the pleasure of your stories, and your company.
