Yeah! Give this friendly man, Mark Sattler a thought, would you!

Anyway, most people are up at 7 AM in the morning, eating breakfast, saying or maybe even kissing his or her some 8 week younger / older wife / husband goodbye and saying be careful to the 1 or 2 children they send away for school at 7.30 AM.

Anyway, checking in at the work place just before 8 AM. Eating lunch for half an hour somewhere between 11.30 AM and 12.30 PM. Finishing up the workday at 4.30 or 5 PM and eating dinner having this finished up before 6 PM.

One and a half hour or so of rest before checking the television news.

In bed just before 11 PM, ready for another day's work.

No reason therefore to end up in a bar fighting at 2.30 AM Saturday morning if you happen to be a brave man.

Three things stand out when it comes to having a clean conscience.

First: Being effective in what you are doing in your life and / or business.

Second: Trying to obtain as best as possible profitability in what you are doing (not necessarily the same as a having a "profit motive" which could mean greed).

Third: Being aware of the principles regarding investment (if you need investment capital, please go to your bank asking for this).

And finally, give your husband / wife as well as children a thought while you are asleep and dreaming.

Anyway, as we all know, Mark is working on it.

Quit smoking!

Well folks, you're officially still on the hook.

I've managed not to buy another pack yet, although I came very close tonight when heading back home from work.

The cravings are still stupidly compulsive.
I mean, having a running conversation with one's self for half an hour trying to justify forking over $1000.00 to Seti so I could cave in and buy a pack.

Sheesh.

So, one day at a time.

As the saying goes, nothing is impossible for those who don't actually have to do it......LOL.

That's your brain lying to you. It's hard not to listen to a lie you tell yourself.

Tell it it's a damned liar.

I'm starting to save-up to pay-off the bet.

Close only counts in horseshoes and heavy artillery.
You didn't cave - a small victory.
Small victories add up to large ones.

"Step by step the longest march
Can be won, can be won
Many stones can form an arch,
Singly none, singly none.

And together what we will
Can be accomplished still.
Many drops can turn a mill,
Singly none, Singly none."

Maybe it is just all about starting up another thread...

Aren't we supposed to be doing all this stuff for a good cause in mind?

Please help Seti@home by donating a couple of spare cycles, will you.

Thanks!

And he'd been so good lately too. He was close to breaking his record for "time on" :-)

"banished: ID 421968" That can't be good.

Anyone else notice that all of his post have disappeared? Makes for some pretty choppy reading.

It's what happens when a user is "Banished" for a breach of the posting rules. All their posts are hidden till they have served out their time.
