I have and old account, this one and by mistake I made another account useing a different e-mail address. Now that e-mail address is gone(account was cancelled) and I want to combine that account with this one. Can it be done, if yes, how? | |

No accounts cannot be combined. This is to prevent nefarious users from stealing others accounts and adding the stolen accounts to their own. | |

If one of them was a classic account and one is a BOINC account, then yes, the Classic account can be associated with one BOINC account. If it is 2 BOINC accounts, then no. | |

I have and old account, this one ... To see is it possible: 1) Log-in your "other" newer account (using the e-mail address that "is gone") 2) go to http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_classic_link.php and paste the e-mail address of the "this one" old account If you get some error message - copy it and paste here (if you want to ask us "Why"). You can change the email in any account you have access to. But you don't need a working email - e.g. "email" of the form 999999@555.777 will work. Thank you very much, I am whole again. It's terrible being called a newbie, considering I have been around since the beginning. I lost interest a long time ago, but now I am back with a couple of faster computers and alot of free time to crunch. | |
