It appears yet again somebody has attempted to take over our team! This is the second time I am aware of it happening. STOP any reference to Knights Stellear and make it ' The Knights Who Say Ni! ' We are aware of hte problem, and hope the Admins resolve this quickly! The one that has usurped OUR TEAM is user http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=187191 - One John H. Bevan, PhD - I DO NOT belong to his team, ' The Knights Stellar! ' - I am, and have been and will remain one of The Knights Who Say Ni! Perhaps contacting the Admins will help more than screaming here. Sadly, your credits that are turned in now will probably get to stay with his team In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Did this person join the team and then click the option to be founder? Which takes 60 days to go into effect if the current founder doesn't stop it. If that was the case you guys might want to put someone that actively checks their messages and/or e-mails as founder. I really can't have any sympathy for a team with a founder who doesn't care if this happens to the team. The process they have is designed for absent or no longer existing founders. When looking at the team page The Knights Who Say Ni!. There would be a line "Team foundership change Initiate request" Then if the current found doesn't reject the request in 60 days the person that requested it is now founder. I did that for my team a few months ago. As the person who was in charge vanished for a few years ago. Edit: You can also assign other admins to the group. So all the load isn't put on one person. Perhaps a better method to relieve abscent landlords is to have the team "Admins" only having access to the change founder function. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Well, you obviously have an inactive founder who haven't checked his E-mails for two months. That means you had it coming, and really, really, should make someone more responsible into founder. I really can't have any sympathy for a team with a founder who doesn't care if this happens to the team. Pretty harsh reaction when referring to a flawed system. |

Erm, the way it's being told here, all someone has to do is click a link or something, and if the founder of a team doesn't respond they are automatically installed as the founder of that team? Anyone else find that as stupid as I do? (I don't mean to be inflammatory, it just seems to me a way for someone to take advantage and hijack credits from people who may have changed their e-mail).
