> Laziness rewards no man.
As a fellow Christian I asked you to explain here. As a fellow Christian you refused. A big non-thank you for the insult. It's what I'll always remember you for. You're more than lazy. You're a quitter. You complain that non-belivers here flame you (which by your insults I see my absence of defending you was justified) so youre giving up and refuse to discuss Christianity further. (*) If youre truely a member of the invisible church and not just the visible church you'll reread [2 Timothy 2:25,26] and try again.

(*)There is a distinction to be drawn between the church as people see it and as God alone sees it. This difference is the historic distinction between the "visible church" and the "invisible church". "Invisible" does not mean that no part of it can be seen, but that its exact boundary is not known to us. Only God knows (2 Timothy 2:19) which members of the earthly congregations are inwardly born again, and so belong to the church as an eternal and spiritual fellowship. Jesus taught that in the organized church there would always be people who seemed to be Christians, not excluding leaders, who were nevertheless not renewed in heart and would be exposed and rejected at the Judgment (Matthew 7:15-23; 13:24-30, 36-43, 47-50; 25:1-46). There are not two churches, one visible and another hidden in heaven, but one church only, known perfectly to God and known imperfectly on earth. NKJV
In plain terms my 2-Tim quote above to WW says the Christian must never assume that those who are non/anti-believers are irretrievably lost. As an evangelist (as WW appears to be) the gospel must be proclaimed to all.

EDIT: But if what Carl Cuseo says is true of your site it makes me glad I was "lazy" by closing the window and ridding me of that irritating midi.

Misfit-
Please do not believe a word I say
It is for you alone to decide
I have trouble stifling my gag reflex
But others might find hate a godly virtue
Certainly the woowoo man feels Jesus sanctions it
If it's directed at Jews

> Why don't you just turn down the volume on your computer then?
I didnt buy a TOTL computer sound system to turn down the volume. As a Christian if you want people to visit your site then be courteous to those that visit and have an option to enable sound on your site for those who wish to hear it. Your response it analogous to Guido saying, "If you dont like the cookies then why dont you just disable them?"

> That sounds like manipulation! :)
I'm having visions of puppet strings...

> Problem solved . . . if you are really interested.
Too late for tonight. Does that link take me to the "authorized" info or will I have to hunt for it? 'Cuz I dont like hunting.

Cosmic Woo Woo
Written by Meredith Brooks/Larry Dvoskin

Spirituality is a henna tattoo
That you wash off when you find something new to get into
Standing in the field with your flashlight blinking
'Cuz somebody told you the aliens were thinking they'd want you
In the end it doesn't really matter what you say or what you wear
So you think Big G gives a – how you get there
Buddhism, Communism, Hinduism,
Health Foodism, Lennonism, Sexism
What about your own ism
Just get real
Don't be a cosmic woo woo
Be who you are let everybody deal
Speak with your own voice just get real
Just get real like this

When I was fifteen I made my mother rant
'Cuz I joined a cult gave me words to chant to reach Heaven
So I used them for the lotto and won big money
They shouted you're in don't worry honey
This ain't 7-11 get in and out
Pop psychology words don't mean anything
When you throw them around to be cool
What goes around comes around
That's what they say
Catholicism, Footballism, Judaism, Racism, Manism, Womanism
What about Humanism

Just get real
Don't be a cosmic woo woo
Be who you are let everybody deal
Speak with your own voice just get real
Just get real don't be a cosmic woo woo
Be who you really are let everybody deal
Speak with your own voice just get real
Cosmic Woo Woo
Just get real

Anytime a response from you is more than one screenful its always negative so instead of reading allow me to SKIM that since it isnt worth the breath it was spoken on. Instead of welcoming someone you'd rather call them a metaphorical a$$hole. You willingly choose to cut/paste from the Flame thread (but are to afraid to involve yourself there) to try to help your "cause" in the Religious thread. So guess what youve done here? Pushed yet another Christian away from you. My faith is just as strong as it was before you started pontificating in this forum. If all you can do is put down the faith of the faithful then I wont be a spectator, as you say, I'll heckle with the group against you. I admit it... Petite, NeoA, Rachel, Richard, Dragon were right about you and I was wrong. Now you're on your own, Hellboy.

Being a recent phenomena, the internet is just coming into its' own regarding the amount of woowoo that's being pitched from every direction.
Here at SETI we're lucky to have one of the more practiced and refined sham-master woowoo spammers filling this thread each day with another steaming pile of woowoo doodoo.
Below links to the woowoo code of conduct as it relates to the internet, a list of common characteristics among most woowoo mens and woowoo womems currently posing as experts when actually all they know is boucoup woowoo.

The WooWoo Credo, Tips to improve your credibility while talking shit, and other useful ways to avoid pesky facts or solid reasoning on the WWW

OH I cant wait.

> For the record, Misfit, I did not get the idea to use that phrase from
> anything you had said over there. I was totally unaware of the fact that you

I find it difficult to believe you.

> The truth is, Misfit, that phrase came to me as I was responding to you, and I
> would dare say that it was even inspired by the Lord, because it gave you a

I dont see how your lack of originality is a dose of my own medicine.

> I went over to the flame thread and was appalled by the four letter words and
> other obscenties that you so freely use over there, and then you have the
> nerve to dare challenge us, and criticize us and our Christian witness in this
> thread???
Here's an example of PUT UP OR SHUT UP. Show me ALL the four letter obscenities that I used in the flame thread. There had better be a long list. As a self-proclaimed perfect Christian you had better not be lying or exaggerating.

> If that is your idea of being one of the "faithful", as you referred
> to yourself, then may God help us all! What hypocrisy!
See this is why you have so much trouble here. Where did I say ANYWHERE that the flame thread represented my faith? You made that up like a Pharisee would. I never said I was perfect (christian or otherwise) nor did I ever say I was sinless. You like putting words in other peoples mouth to try to make your opinion fit the facts.

> Misfit, you can get as mad as you want. You can call me every name in the
> book, just like you do with folks in that flame thread.
Hmmm... must be why its called the FLAME thread.

> Because you could not accept that Scriptural truth, and because you couldn't
> bare to have your own hypocrisy exposed, and your own failure to let your
> Christian light shine, you chose to attack me.
Wow, then by your logic about 99% participants in this thread must be exposed hypocrits.

> You know, I don't agree with anything that Richard says, but he did say one
> thing in the flame thread which is very true about you. You know how to dish
> it out, Misfit, but you just can't handle it when someone turns around and
> does the same thing to you and puts you in your place.
I'll handle it when someone DOES put me in my place, which certainly isnt you.

> The way you mercilessly
> cut down some people over there, with such vulgar language, while bragging
> about your Christianity over here, is pitiful . . . and hypocritical!
If you were so filled with mercy you wouldnt even be talking to me in this way, hypocrite. AGAIN you repeat yourself. So I'll repeat show me ALL the vulgar language. Also while your at it show me ANYWHERE in this entire website where I BRAGGED that I was a Christian. YOU are the one here who's saying how your christian faith makes you better than everyone else, they will burn in hell if they believe differently than you..blah blah blah...where am I doing that? You on the other hand attempt to forcefully superimpose your beliefs onto others.

> You have made several jabs at our Christian presence here in these threads,
> and I finally just got tired of your hypocrisy, and that is why I chose to
> expose you.
Asking for clarification is making jabs? You "exposed" me?

> I put you in your place good and well, and you know it.
You did? I do? Well maybe in your own mind if it makes you feel any better.

> I tried to
> help you understand by sharing God's Word with you. Instead, just like
Quoting without sharing your own views doesnt help anyone understand. I have my bible right HERE and can read any quotes I want. The only original comment to come from you is "visit my website".

> everyone else here, you resisted it, Misfit, and you went on the attack, just
> as you do in the other threads.
You mean the other threads you dont read? You must be as psychic as a traveling gypsy.

> So again, before you dare to tell our team how it should operate here,
Team? What team? You have a team?

> Again, put up, and let your Christian light shine, or shut up!
Again, stop quoting me and use your own words. Fortune cookies have more originality.
