Find out why he did it, what was going through his mind, and hope to help him understand that it was wrong to do.

Not ass charitable as OzzF4 ...

Find him

confront him with the evidence of his cruelty

get him to understand and admit the wrong doing (which may be difficult with his attitudes)

Find the nearest crane, tie his ankles together and hoist him 50' in the air, upside down, for 20 minutes, before letting him down to the ground (no other punishment) or damage.

Let him know if he is caught perpetrating animal cruelty at any future time through his life he forfeits his right leg.

Tit-for-tat.

We know what he is. We know why. Just read up about serial killers.

The question is do we allow his DNA to continue to be in the human gene pool?

I didn't realize cruelty to animals (abhorrent as it is) was considered a capital offense, nor did I realize the gene for serial killers had been identified.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

I suggest hanging him by his scrotum until it tears off.
That should take care of the punishment aspect AND protect the gene pool.

Cruelty to animals is not a capital offense. Where did you get the idea I said it was? Have you not heard of sterilization?

Cruelty to animals is one thing serial killers have in common.

It's been well documented that those who have little or no regard for an innocent animal's feelings or welfare often have little problem later in life advancing that same level of disregard to fellow human beings.

The guy is obviously a "Danger to self or others". And should be locked up until that is no longer the case.

it's obvious that someone who does this to a poor cat will do the same to a human being, as long he nows that there is no defense from the other side.

O don't want to analyse him, and i'm not interest also but is also obvious that this man is a coward

A coworker of mine just recently had both her arms mauled by her pet dogs.
She still loves them, but can never trust them again.
Innocent animal my ass. Animals belong in a barn, or in the wild.
My dad told my sister, when she had her first child, to get rid of the cats.
If you need pets to fill a void in your life fine.
Just remember that chickens make good pets too, that egg farms are a form of
abuse, and that chicken is awfully tasty.

I don't think anyone here realises the terrible abuse that is involved in the farming industry.

Chicken and Dairy farms are the worst offenders.

Cruelty to all animals is terrible. I suggest all those upset here do the right thing and boycott any meat where they can't be sure of the conditions the animal is raised and slaughtered in. Or perhaps go and visit some of these places and see the conditions their dinner lives in.

Maybe it just comes down to an "Energy Balance".
We as a species cannot advance at the expense of an "other".
Maybe i should get my protein from soy burgers.

Mankind evolved as a specie because it started to have a protein rich diet. We are what we are, is just like the tale of the scorpion and the frog, at the end the no specie can deny it's true nature.

As humans we have the ability of eating almost everything. It's common knowledge that chicken farms, fish farms and other's of the kind, do not treat animals in a proper way, they are just seen as a commodity that has to be slaughter and sold.

Without farms like this, mankind would die of starvation, as we are many and food needs to be produced in a cheap way.

I respect all the ones that follow an alternative diet, veggans, etc... Myself, well i can't live without a good TBone or a nice Fish.

To be honest i can live without that, but it would be the same thing.

We are what we are, but noyhinh justify acts of extrem crualty to animals, like that guy did to that cat.

One thing is to raise animals to be eaten, the other is just abuse the animals just for pleasure.

Actually, quite the opposite is true. It takes more land and resources to produce meat than vegetables, grain etc.

In the future, as there are more food shortages, the solution will be to become vegetarian. Meat farming is too intensive and wasteful, as well as being cruel.
