I noticed that instead of about once a day for reporting wu's, that reporting's now done more often, is anyone else seeing this?

I mean I thought DCF was a problem, but now I don't know.

To some extent, reporting depends on BOINC version, but in general without manual interference, you will be reporting whenever you ask for new work, or 24h after a task was finished/uploaded. In 6.12.x+ NNT will give 'report immediately' behaviour.

So you with the current limits you are probably asking for work more often, than you would with a completely full cache.

We, the people, demand that all AP related servers and processes are turned on, or we, the people will start picketing SETI's lab, while throwing rotten, or in other ways bad WU's at the staff..

:-)

Picketing and throwing rotten or bad WU's suspended. AP processes seems to start up now, one by one.

Bad timing for Me, nothing was available, including stuff from the 505th... :D

Good Luck getting Yer fill, One of these days It would be nice If Seti can get more bandwidth for US(from either HE or Berk, I don't care which either) and maybe for S@H too.

Now you've demonstrated that Swedish People Power works, could you send the flying pickets on to the Beta server, please?

I'm sorry Richard, but since I am not a Beta tester, I do not have the power or the authorization to picket the Beta server. :-)

Since when did flying pickets need authorisation? That's boss talk :P

The error stopped a min or 2 after I posted....whew...

I thought I had been banned, or maybe Staff had my account mixed up with Sten-Arne's account...LOL (just kidding...)

And oooops, we're down again...

Looks like we're up and running again, but i'm still unable to connect to SETI@home. I did reset SETI@home project on one of my computers and it immediately started to download new tasks, lost 4 tasks that were trying to upload since last Saturday, weird...

Going to lose couple hundred more if i reset the other computers. Is there any other way to get them to connect to the project without losing tasks?

I had some luck with proxies (again^^). Though this time it doesn't seem to be an issue with the HE-router.

Looks like the Scheduler's getting a bit flakey (or the feeder). Almost all of my systems requests for work (CPU & GPU) result in "Project has no tasks available" messages. And the inbound traffic is slowly but steadily climbing- which has occured in the past when the Scheduler's been reluctant to dish out work.

If you check the Scarecrow graphs, part of the increase in inbound traffic is the shorty storm....
Results returned per hour has gone up and turnaround time has dropped.

This also tends to increase the odds of getting 'no tasks available'.

Checkout the long term graphs- inbound traffic wasn't as high during the previous shorty storm (and in the last one there were no VLARs about), and i wasn't getting nearly as many "Project has no tasks available" messages as i have been over the last few hours.

When can we expect a sufficient number of Wu's ?
Just wanted to put our subteam (GP > DPC) on the map but my 2 GTX460's are just picking their noses.

@ Winterknight : In that case it seems more useful to go back to PG and visit again next year.

When the BOINC developers get Credit New working, and that could be months away.
