Just curious maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong, but the sign up for E@H alpha/ beta testing began around the end of July. I recall signing up at the end of July or early August, and never recieved any invitation to do alpha/beta testing that began last month. Since that time, actually in the last 8 days I have signed up using four different email addresses. What really gets me is a jerk like Guido gets picked only weeks after signing up. I have been reading the boards over at E@H, and sure enough Guido is posting his silly posts with the silly pictures. |

I signed up early July also & haven't received an invite either, not that I know of anyway, it's the luck of the draw I guess ... |

So these now will be at the end of, what I suspect is, a very, very, very, long list.*** > What really gets me is a jerk like Guido gets picked only weeks after signing up. ***That's not very nice is it?*** > I have been reading the boards over at E@H, and sure enough Guido is posting his silly posts with the silly pictures. One of the benefits of a democracy is the right of free speech/expression - within certain limits. As Einstein@Home is based in the U.S.A.; I doubt if they are too concerned over it especially as it is alpha phase and needs to be tested to the extreme. Mr. Waldenmeier, I am certain, is quite willing to assist in this. |

I am an American, I lived in the U.S. for 46 years, now I have chosen to live out the rest of my days living and working in China. No Malice intended, but Guido is a jerk..... God Bless America..... |

You are not allowed to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater -- at least not without consequences. Free Speech also does not guarantee an audience -- or a forum. |

>> No Malice intended, but Guido is a jerk..... >>***Now that was dishonest for it was full of malice.*** Ok, then, malice is intended, honestly. Guido is a jerk. ...and in the land of free speech I don't expect anyone to complain about that statement. Of course, if you do, then it calls into question the principle. As always, rights carry responsibilities. The right to free speech carries with it a responsibility to use some common sense. The right to bear arms carries with it a responsibilty not to use them recklessly - unless murder is no longer a crime in the US. Need I go on? Giskard - the first telepathic robot. |

Mr. Utzig, I think you missd the key phrase in my post "now I have(chosen)to live out the rest of my days living, and working in China". Chosen as in free choice..... Mr. Utzig, it's called adventure, choosing to live here has been a wonderful experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity actually. Choosing to live in China does not exclude the fact that I still love America. Utzig...hmmmmm....doesn't sound like your typical French Canadian name, maybe you are perchance German, like Guido? Oh, excuse me...we really don't know what Guido is....nationality that is, but we do however know he is a jerk. Of course hyprocrisy does not interest you, but I have not been hypocritical. Enjoy the weather in Canada, which by the way is a beautiful country, I love Quebec....eh. |

I am, however, of Germanic heritage.*** > Oh, excuse me...we really don't know what Guido is....nationality that is, but we do however know he is a jerk. ***Perhaps, perhaps not. However, after the public call for his assassination by an American; I find all such commentary suspect - especially when it comes from an American.*** > Of course hyprocrisy does not interest you, but I have not been hypocritical. Enjoy the weather in Canada, ***Meaning?*** > which by the way is a beautiful country, I love Quebec....eh. Thank you but from your above statements I am suspect about your statement of 'love'. |

I've read horror stories about how the Chinese are treated in Toronto.... Not a racist, my first wife was African American, I am Italian by heritage, my present wife is Chinese. Utzig I grew up in the ghetto, in other words I grew up in hell.....my grandmother had more attitude than you. > > maybe you are perchance German, like Guido? > > ***No, per chance I am Canadian. Well, maybe your suspect of all Americans from your above statements.. -Fini- |

> Sorry Utzig am not a missionary, I am a computer helpdesk technician. > Actually, America is the most ethnically diverse country on earth ***Beep, not quite true. In numbers, yes - in percentages no - Canada has more immigrants than the U.S. does in percentages but the U.S. has more in total.*** > Racist commentary? I've read horror stories about how the Chinese are treated in Toronto.... ***Let me guess. In a communist controlled, Chinese, newspaper?*** > Not a racist, my first wife was African American, I am Italian by heritage, > my present wife is Chinese. Utzig I grew up in the ghetto, in other words > I grew up in hell.....my grandmother had more attitude than you. ***Which explains the way you write about Mr. Waldenmeier and your infantile whine about not getting into Einstein@Home yet.*** > I never called for his asassination, maybe you're the racist. ***I never stated you did. Why so defensive?*** > Meaning enjoy the weather, which part of that didn't you understand? > Well, maybe your suspect of all Americans from your above statements.. No, just the two that were writing about killing Mr. Waldenmeier and, perhaps, you now. |
